Dmitriy has 15 years of experience as a master carpenter and builder, gained across several countries. He has been building in Winnipeg since 2022, and today he leads every WoodDeckS'ON project himself: the first visit, the estimate, the plan and every step of the work, through to the final walkthrough.
He knows materials, building codes and what our climate does to a structure, and he brings that to every job. Working with him is a strong team of skilled carpenters from his trusted circle, each working under his direct supervision. For interiors, licensed electricians and plumbers join the team under our coordination.
Dmitriy's craftsmanship has been part of projects that received the Grand Manitoba Winner award.
In their own words.
Dmitriy and his crew were top notch from beginning to end. Communication was prompt and clear - he laid out options for me to get me what I was after, including ranges in product to balance quality and cost. They worked steadily all day and with a refreshing positive attitude. Recommend 5/5 and will use them again!
Hired Dima to build front steps with railing for my mother who moved in. We were so impressed with his workmanship that I had him replace and build another set of steps at the side of our house. These steps are rock solid as Dima used screw piles to anchor the steps so they will never move. The steps really added to the look of our house and we have had several compliments already. I would highly recommend Dima and his company for any similar construction projects.
Had my 15 year old deck that was in rough shape brought back to life by Dmitry and his crew. Stained and painted the deck and it looks as good as new! Turned out way better than I had hoped! Dmitry was very professional and finished on time and on budget. I would highly recommend him for any deck restoration.
I noticed one of the support posts on my pergola had developed a lean so I contacted Dmitriy and he came out to inspect the structure. It is a large and heavy pergola constructed with 8X8 Douglas Fir. Dmitriy had a look at it and figured out a few different options. After discussion I felt completely confident that he could handle and repair the issues. He arrived when promised and got to work right away. The result after a few hours was a straitened and tuned up pergola that needed a bit more work than I thought. I would not hesitate to to recommend Dmitriy and his company for excellent work and his attention to detail is great. Thank you Dmitriy!
Dima and his team did a fantastic job on setting me up with new yard gates. From the initial consultation and communication, Dima is highly professional and knowledgeable and his team works hard to do the best job they can. I am highly impressed with the quality of the service he offered!
Really impressed with Dmitri and his team's work on refinishing my backyard deck. They were professional, pleasant, worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job. The job was more challenging than anticipated yet they still finished ahead of schedule. Would definitely use them again for any other carpentry project.
So grateful to have met Dmitriy and his crew. They were kind, hard working, and did a wonderful job. I would happily recommend them to anyone.
I recently had my deck restained and was impressed with the thourghness of the job. It was sanded down and afew coats of stain applied. It looks better then when we purchased to home. I would defintely use this company again !
Would recommend them to everyone. Incredible finished deck, great communication, excellent cleanup - very impressed. Thank you!
